Retail theft
MONROE TOWNSHIP - State police at Selinsgrove have charged two people with retail theft in separate incidents that occurred at Wal-Mart along Susquehanna Trail.
Michael Robert Ott, 32, of Williamsport, was charged with stealing a Turtle Beach headset for Xbox valued at $159.96 shortly after 5 p.m. Saturday.
A 16-year-old Mifflinburg female was charged with stealing cosmetic items before being stopped by loss prevention personnel.
Cameron Bridge accident
COAL TOWNSHIP - Two vehicles had to be towed from the scene of a crash late Saturday night on Route 61 at the Cameron Bridge intersection.
Patrolman Jason Adams reported Timothy Wood, 28, of Shamokin, was driving a 2001 Dodge Inteprid south on Route 61 at 10:40 p.m. when he proceeded through a green traffic signal at the Cameron Bridge intersection. Police said a 1989 Honda Prelude driven north on Route 61 by Lawrence Funk, 55, of Trevorton, then made a left turn in front of Wood's vehicle, causing a collision. Police said Funk was attempting to proceed over to Route 225 to travel toward Trevorton.
No injuries were reported.
Police said Funk will be cited for failing to obey traffic control devices.
