Armed robbery

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP - State police at Selinsgrove are searching for a male who committed an armed robbery at Harvey's Market along Route 522 late Friday night in this Snyder County township.

Police said a male wearing a tan Carhartt jacket with the letters CDQC on the back, blue jeans and possibly a ski mask with a blue bandana entered the market at 11:49 p.m. brandishing a handgun and stole cash from the register.

Police said the robber and an accomplice waiting outside the store then fled west in a vehicle toward Maple Avenue.

Anyone with information about the robbery is urged to call state police at Selinsgrove at 374-8145 and reference incident number F07-1169294.

DUI

FRAILEY TOWNSHIP - Eulon Patrick, 48, of Knoxville, Tenn., was charged by state police at Frackville with driving under the influence of alcohol, harassment, driving without a license, driving an unregistered vehicle and a turning violation relating to an incident shortly before 5:30 p.m. Friday on Interstate 81 in the area of mile marker 111 in this Schuylkill County township.

Police said a 21-year-old woman from Reisterstown, Md., told them Patrick was following her for approximately 15 miles in a pickup truck and stared and shouted at her with his window down. Police said Patrick showed signs of being under the influence of alcohol and refused to submit to chemical testing.

Patrick was arraigned by on-call Magisterial District Judge David Plachko and committed to Schuylkill County Prison in Pottsville in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Burglary

WEST CHILLISQUAQUE TOWNSHIP - Tanner Lee Shade, 18, of Milton, was charged by state police at Milton with burglary, receiving stolen property, theft, criminal mischief, criminal trespass, driving under suspension, underage drinking and driving without a license involving a burglary at 7 a.m. Thursday at Susquehanna Motorcycle Club in the 2800 block of Shakespeare Boulevard.

Police said Shade is accused of forcibly entering the building and stealing money, keys, alcohol, tools and a motorcycle belonging to Cory Theys of Selinsgrove.

Police reported Shade also caused damage to the property and motorcycle.

Shade was apprehended and arrested Thursday afternoon. He was found in possession of most of the stolen items and the motorcycle was found on his property, police said.

He was arraigned by on-call Senior Magisterial District Judge Richard Cashman and committed to Northumberland County Prison in Sunbury in lieu of $25,000 bail.

Retail theft

KELLY TOWNSHIP - April Lyons, 30, of Sunbury, was charged by state police at Milton with retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia relating to an incident at 5:10 p.m. Wednesday at Walmart in this Union County township.

Police reported Lyons is accused of stealing $1,034.54 in merchandise from the business. Police said the arrest marked Lyons' fifth retail theft offense.

She was arraigned by on-call Magisterial District Judge Leo Armbruster and committed to Union County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.

DUI

LIBERTY TOWNSHIP - Nathan Richard Cope, 26, of Mifflinville, was charged by state police at Milton with driving under the influence and related offenses involving a Dec. 18 incident at the intersection of Route 642 and Church Road in this Montour County township.
