SHAMOKIN - Gerald Saint Clair Whitnum, 47, of 341 S. Seventh St., Shamokin, has been charged by Trooper Thomas Leib of state police at Stonington with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, careless driving and a brake light violation relating to an Oct. 20 incident on South Diamond Street near West Mulberry Street.
Police said Whitnum had a blood-alcohol content of .284 percent.
DUI
SHAMOKIN TOWNSHIP - Two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and charges of failure to drive in a single lane and careless driving were filed by Trooper Thomas Leib of state police at Stonington against Ambrose J. Leshock, 70, of Route 61, Paxinos.
Police reported Leshock had a blood-alcohol content of .172 percent.
The charges relate to an Oct. 29 incident along Route 61 near Stahl's Produce.
DUI
ZERBE TOWNSHIP - Kayla Elizabeth Bulchie, 21, of 241 W. Shamokin St., Trevorton, was charged by Trooper Nicholas Berger of state police at Stonington with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to drive in a single lane, driving at an unsafe speed, careless driving and failure to wear a seat belt.
The charges relate to a Nov. 11 incident on Route 225 in Zerbe Township near the Coal Township line.
Police said Bulchie had a blood-alcohol content of .218 percent.
Drug charges
SHAMOKIN - Zachary Block, 19, of 318 N. Rock St., Shamokin, was charged by Cpl. Bryan Primerano with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia relating to a Nov. 15 incident at his residence.
DUI
SHAMOKIN - Patrolman Nathan Rhodes has charged Karin M. Sharpe, 34, of 148 Steeler Lane, Shamokin, with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and careless driving involving an Oct. 27 incident at Spruce and Market streets.
Police said Sharpe had a blood-alcohol content of .227 percent.
