Juvenile car thief

MOUNT CARMEL - A juvenile was charged with theft and related offenses after allegedly stealing the same car twice in two days last week.

Mount Carmel Borough Police Cpl. David Donkochik reported a 17-year-old from Mount Carmel took a vehicle Thursday at Third and Locust streets then returned it to the same area only to steal the vehicle again Aug. 28.

The juvenile was charged with two counts each of receiving stolen property, theft and drivers required to be licensed.

Scattering rubbish

MOUNT CARMEL - Diane M. Hutko, 47, of 230 S. Plum St., Mount Carmel, was cited for scattering rubbish by Mount Carmel Borough Police Patrolman Kevin Katch for throwing household items out the second floor window of her residence and onto the street at 3 p.m. Aug. 14.

Harassment

MOUNT CARMEL - Ashley R. Yorks, 22, of 216 W. Avenue, was cited for harassment after allegedly struck her mother, Sheila Labate, in the head at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 14. The citation was filed by borough police Cpl. David Donkochik.

Underage drinking

MOUNT CARMEL - Joseph R. Schmoyer, 18, of 215 S. Maple St., was cited for underage drinking by borough police Patrolman Matthew Dillman related to an incident at Fifth and Market streets at 4:30 a.m. Aug. 18.

Public drunkenness

MOUNT CARMEL - Borough police Patrolman William Adamski cited a 13-year-old Mount Carmel juvenile with public drunkeness after the youth was found under the influence of synthetic spice while in the gazebo area at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 19.

Harassment

MOUNT CARMEL - Jennifer Diamond, 36, and Lance Glenney, 27, both of 337 E. Seventh St., were cited by Patrolman Justin Stelma with harassment after a 6 a.m. disturbance Aug. 16. Police allege the individuals struck each other, causing injury.

Dog running at large

COAL TOWNSHIP - Miranda Canouse, 20, of 127 Main St., was cited by Patrolman Chris Lapotsky, for allowing her dogs to run at large Aug. 20.
