Liquor law violation
MOUNT CARMEL - Nicholas M. Gummel, owner of the Silver Spur at 249-251 S. Oak St., Mount Carmel, has been cited by the state Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for selling liquor and/or malt beverages after his liquor license expired March 31.
Police said the offense occurred April 3 and April 4.
The charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. The judge also can impose a license suspension or revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge.
Disorderly conduct
SHAMOKIN - Brenton Foreman, 18, of 405 S. Fifth St., Shamokin, was cited by Patrolman Scott Weaver for disorderly conduct involving a disturbance at the Fifth Street playground at 9:40 a.m. Tuesday.
Retail theft
SHAMOKIN - Patrolman William Miner has charged Julie A. Bielski, 50, of 124 W. Mulberry St., Shamokin, with retail theft for allegedly removing two pain relief pills and consuming them at the Dollar General at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 1.
Public drunkenness
SHAMOKIN - David J. Swatski Jr., 33, of 543 E. Arch St., Shamokin, was cited by Patrolman William Miner for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct relating to a disturbance at 5:30 a.m. Aug. 7 in the 300 block of South Diamond Street.
Police said Swatski pounded on a door and challenged people to fight.
Criminal mischief
MONROE TOWNSHIP - An unknown person or persons shot windows of Tedd's Landing, 45 Route 11, with a BB gun between 2 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday in this Snyder County township. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at Selinsgrove at 570-374-8145.
