Fight charges
SHAMOKIN - Alicia Lahr, 20, of 142 W. Saylor St., Atlas, and Belinda Smith, 22, of 403 S. Fifth St., Shamokin, were cited by Police Chief Darwin Tobias III for disorderly conduct and harassment relating to a fight at 1:27 p.m. April 2 at Market and Water streets.
Both women suffered minor injuries, police said.
Harassment
SHAMOKIN - Gary Gonzalez, 52, of 514 S. Diamond St., Shamokin, was cited by Patrolman William Zalinski for harassment involving a Feb. 21 incident at his residence.
Police said Gonzalez harassed John Traas, 22, of the same address, at 10:50 p.m.
Steals street sign
SHAMOKIN - Matthew Paglione, 36, of Newark, Del., and Joseph A. Egleston, 22, of 46 N. Third St., Shamokin, were cited by Patrolman Scott Weaver for criminal mischief and disorderly conduct for removing a street sign at Arch and Carbon streets at 1:51 a.m. April 3.
Police said both men were caught stealing the sign and attempting to flee.
Guilty pleas
SHAMOKIN - Randy B. Elliot II, 25, of 1240 Poplar St., Kulpmont, and Zolange Otero, 30, of 231 W. Willow St., Shamokin, pleaded guilty Tuesday to possession of drug paraphernalia and were each ordered by Magisterial District Judge John Gembic III to pay a $200 fine plus costs and placed on probation for nine months.
Elliot was charged by Patrolman Raymond Siko II in connection with a Feb. 9 incident in the 900 block of North Shamokin Street.
Otero was charged by Patrolman Scott Weaver in connection with a March 11 incident at her home. An additional charge of possession of a small amount of marijuana was withdrawn.
