Pickup rolls
DORNSIFE - Kyle Z. Davis, 24, of Dornsife, escaped injury in a rollover crash shortly after midnight Tuesday in Washington Township.
State police at Stonington said Davis was driving a 2000 Ford F350 north on Slutter Valley Road, near Ferster Valley Road, about 5 miles south of Dornsife, when he began to fall asleep. The vehicle veered off the right side of the road, struck an embankment and rolled onto its driver side.
Davis was wearing a seat belt. He was cited by Trooper David Myers with violating the traffic code driving on roadways laned for traffic. His vehicle was towed.
Pillow and Herndon fire departments assisted at the scene.
Mailbox damaged
PITMAN - Stephanie Reiner, 27, of Pitman, reported damage to her mailbox along Peach Tree Lane in Upper Mahanoy Township between 4:30 p.m. Feb. 19 and 7 a.m. Feb. 20, state police at Stonington reported Saturday.
Check stolen
HAMILTON - A personal check was stolen from Mary Deitman, 84, of 45 Sun Valley Drive, and cashed for $300 between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Feb. 10, according to state police at Stonington. An investigation continues.
Vehicle damaged
PAXINOS - Abigail Rose Troutman, 19, of Coal Township, reported her vehicle's glove compartment door was disabled with an unknown object while the vehicle was parked at Masser's Farm Market along Route 61 in Shamokin Township. The incident occurred about 8 p.m. Feb. 18, state police at Stonington reported Saturday.
Rollover crash
PLUM CREEK - Tricia R. Heiser, 26, of Shamokin, suffered a minor injury in a crash Feb. 12 in Shamokin Township, state police at Stonington reported Saturday.
Heiser was driving a 2008 Suzuki Reno east on Captain Bloom Road near Plum Creek Road about 10:30 p.m. when she lost control of the vehicle. It traveled up a snow embankment and rolled onto its roof, coming to rest in a residential yard. She was treated at Geisinger-Shamokin Area Community Hospital, Coal Township.
