Two-vehicle crash
MONROE TOWNSHIP - A Coal Township woman suffered a minor injury in a two-vehicle crash on the North Susquehanna Trail at the intersection with Lori Lane at 7:45 a.m. Thursday.
State police at Selinsgrove report a 2011 Toyota Corolla, driven by Desiree R. Ignaszewski, 21, of Coal Township, was stopped in the left southbound lane of state routes 11 and 15 at the intersection with Lori Lane, while a 2007 GMC Envoy, driven by Christina M. Fischetti, 37, of Coal Township, was also stopped behind the Corolla. Police said Fischetti traveled forward, striking the rear of Ignaszewski's car.
Ignaszewski suffered a minor injury in the crash, while Fischetti was cited for following too closely.
