Defiant trespass

THARPTOWN - William H. Delbaugh, 36, of 6 N. Locust St., Coal Township, will be cited by Coal Township police for defiant trespass relating to an incident at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday on property owned by Aqua Pennsylvania in the Tharptown area.

Campsite theft

SUNBURY - About $1,130 in items were reported stolen between 11 p.m. Sept. 28 and noon Oct. 19 from a campsite at Nikomahs Campground in Upper Augusta Township.

A television, power tools, fishing equipment, electronics and horseshoes were among the items stolen from Matthew Marcheski, 23, of Shamokin, and Nicholas Domanski, 24, of Sunbury, according to state police at Stonington. Anyone with information is asked to call 570-286-5601.

Strikes deer

PAXINOS - Richard R. Jones, 18, of Coal Township, escaped injury after crashing a 2005 Mercury Montego on southbound Route 61 about 10:40 p.m. Oct. 23. The crash occurred when he struck a deer while rounding a left curve south of Route 487, according to state police at Stonington. He was wearing a seat belt.

Guns stolen

AUGUSTAVILLE - Robert Paul, 54, of 275 Hollow Road, Rockefeller Township, reported to state police at Stonington that multiple unidentified firearms were stolen from his basement between Nov. 24, 2013 and Oct. 26. Anyone with information is asked to call 570-286-5601.

Strikes deer II

SNYDERTOWN - Scott E. McGonnell, 53, of Danville, escaped injury after striking a deer with a 2002 Jeep Liberty on eastbound Snydertown Road about 1 a.m. Oct. 26 in Upper Augusta Township, according to state police at Stonington. The crash occurred near Cold Run Hollow Road. He was wearing a seat belt.

Strikes building

DORNSIFE - Mindy L. Kahler, 46, of Dornsife, escaped injury after crashing a 2010 Ford Fusion on southbound Route 147 Oct. 23 in Lower Mahanoy Township, according to state police at Stonington. Kahler told police she swerved to avoid an another vehicle that had pulled in front of her, causing her to crash into a building. She was wearing a seat belt. Police issued her a citation for violating roadways laned for traffic.

Strikes bank

GOWEN CITY - Audrey D. Kingery, 48, of Shamokin Dam, was injured after crashing a 2007 Hyundai Sonata on southbound Route 125 about 9:50 p.m. Oct. 24 in East Cameron Township, according to state police at Stonington. Police say she lost control while rounding an uphill left curve and struck an embankment. She was wearing a seat belt, and taken to Sunbury Community Hospital for unknown injuries. AREA Services and Trevorton EMS assisted.
