Disorderly conduct

SHAMOKIN - Brian Donner, 30, of 916 E. Chestnut St., Shamokin, was cited by Patrolman Raymond Siko II for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after walking up the middle of Independence and Shamokin streets at 11 p.m. Monday, causing motorists to swerve their vehicles to avoid striking him.

Public drunkenness

SHAMOKIN - Jarrod Moyle, 40, of 401 N. Rock St., Shamokin, was cited by Patrolman Mark Costa for public drunkenness after being found lying at Water and Rock streets at 2:10 p.m. Tuesday under the influence of alcohol.

Guilty plea

MOUNT CARMEL - Andrew L. Hartzell, 20, of 156 E. Independence St., Apt. 4B, Shamokin, pleaded guilty Wednesday to driving without a license and careless driving relating to a June 15 incident on Route 2038 near Dooleyville.

Hartzell was ordered by Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones to pay $362.50 in fines plus costs.

Additional charges of failing to have proper registration for an ATV, failing to have liability insurance, fleeing or attempting to elude police and operating an ATV on a street or highway were withdrawn.

The charges were filed by Mount Carmel Township Patrolman Daniel Politza.

Drug offenses

MOUNT CARMEL - Jeffrey M. Trocki, 39, of 341 W. Fourth St., Mount Carmel, was charged by Patrolman Kevin Katch with obtaining a controlled substance by forgery, forgery and altering a prescription Aug. 18 at Community Pharmacy at 49 S. Oak St.

Drug charges

SUNBURY - Cynthia A, Tiebout, 25, of Susquehanna Avenue, Sunbury, was charged by Officer Stephen Bennick with criminal conspiracy, delivering nine Oxycodone Hydrochloride tablets, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance involving a Sept. 18 incident at 345 Race St.

Tiebout was arraigned Friday by on-call Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones and committed to Northumberland County Prison in Sunbury in lieu of $50,000 cash bail. She was released Tuesday on unsecured bail.

PFA violation

LOCUST GAP - David Allen Sadusky, 34, of 502 McKnight St., Gordon, was charged by Mount Carmel Township Police Chief Brian Hollenbush with violating a protection from abuse order.

Sadusky is accused of leaving 39 text messages for his estranged wife, Amy Sadusky, between Sept. 5 and Sept. 15.

Sadusky was previously charged with the same offense.

Pipe found at school

COAL TOWNSHIP - A 15-year-old Shamokin male was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after he was found with a glass smoking pipe while he was a student at the Shamokin Area Middle/High School Sept. 9. The charge was filed with Northumberland County Juvenile Services.

Access device fraud

HERNDON - Kathleen M. Levan, 39, of Herndon, reported to state police at Stonington someone used her debit card or number to make a purchase at the Apple Retail Store and Radio Shack at the Park City Mall, Lancaster, between 12:36 and 12:50 p.m. Saturday. Both purchases were made without her knowledge or consent.

Truck stolen

DORNSIFE - Troy A. Stiely, owner of Troy's Auto Sales, Little Mahanoy Township, reported to state police at Stonington someone removed a 1989 Ford F250 Diesel pickup truck from the sales lot between 3 p.m. Sept. 15 and 5:07 p.m. Sept. 20. Anyone with information pertaining to the investigation is asked to contact Trooper Daniel J. Wilk at 570-286-5601.

Driver cited

UPPER AUGUSTA TOWNSHIP - State police at Stonington cited a Mount Carmel woman for careless driving following an investigation into a crash at 8:21 p.m. Saturday along Snydertown Road near Black Mill Road.

Police say Rachaelyn Berezovske, 31, was traveling east on Snydertown Road when she lost control of her 2005 Ford Focus while reading a text message. The Focus left the right side of the roadway and Berezoske brought the vehicle back onto the road, but the Focus left the roadway again, striking a mailbox and rolling over as it re-entered the roadway.

Berezovske sustained minor injuries in the crash and was cited for careless driving, but police said the investigation is ongoing. Assisting state police at the scene were members of the Upper Augusta Fire Company and Americus Hose Company.

Took vehicle

SELINSGROVE - Zachary A. Zerbe, 18, of Selinsgrove, was charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle by state police at Stonington after he took his parents' vehicle from 9 p.m. Friday to 2:04 a.m. Saturday without their permission. Zerbe was then arrested in Zerbe Township for an unrelated incident.

Underage drinking

SUNBURY - State police at Stonington charged three known juveniles with underage driving after four juveniles and an adult were encountered along Route 890 at 10:30 p.m. Friday. An investigation showed that three of the four juveniles had been drinking at a residence earlier.

Criminal mischief

ZERBE TOWNSHIP - State police at Stonington said a known 16-year-old removed a license plate Saturday from a vehicle owned by Scott D. Schaffner, of Trevorton, near 321 E. Coal St., Zerbe Township. Minor damage was done to the license plate in the incident.

Gun stolen

ROCKEFELLER TOWNSHIP - Dale L. App, 55, of Sunbury, reported to state police at Stonington someone removed a semi-automatic .22 Marlin rifle from a motorhome he had parked on Plum Creek Road, Rockefeller Township, between 8 p.m. Sept. 1 and 4:25 p.m. Sept. 18.

Human waste

MOUNT CARMEL - Charles W. Matukaitis, 79, of 419 E. Third St., Mount Carmel, was cited by Patrolman William Adamski with disorderly conduct for dumping human waste into the street causing hazardous conditions at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 13.

Forgery

MOUNT CARMEL - Patrolman Kevin Katch has charged Stephanie Allen, 20, of Harrisburg, with forgery, theft and receiving stolen property involving incidents between May 9 and May 11 at 314 N. Turnpike St.

Allen is accused of stealing and forging a check in the amount of $800 belonging to Denise Girardi.
