Mailboxes damaged
UPPER MAHANOY TOWNSHIP - State police at Stonington reported someone damaged the mailboxes of Pamela Schaffner, 47, and Kenneth Fetterolf, 75, both of Rebuck, along Schwaben Creek Road between 5 p.m. Aug. 22 and 10 a.m. Aug. 23.
Harassment
ROCKEFELLER TOWNSHIP - A 16-year-old male from Sunbury will be cited by state police at Stonington for harassment for allegedly slapping a 37-year-old female from Sunbury during an argument at 2 p.m. Aug. 23 at 241 Airport Road.
Altercation
TREVORTON - Tiffany Marie Bridi, 34, and Jessie O. Marshall, 47, both of Trevorton, will be cited by state police at Stonington for harassment for engaging in a physical altercation at 2:24 a.m. Friday at 722 W. Market St.
Scrap metal theft
MAYBERRY TOWNSHIP - Jason Jeremiah, 33, of Catawissa, has been charged by state police at Stonington with theft, receiving stolen property, loitering and prowling at night and driving with a suspended license involving the April 19 theft of scrap metal owned by John Bulko, of High Road, Catawissa.
Theft investigation
SUNBURY - State police at Stonington are investigating the theft of a wallet at Valero Gas Station on North Fourth Street at 8;25 a.m. Monday.
Edward L. Mordan Jr., 40, of 230 Pontius Ave., Sunbury, said he left the wallet at the gas station after pumping fuel. Mordan said whoever took the wallet used a credit/debit card to make several purchases.
Escapes injury
EAST CAMERON TOWNSHIP - Roxann J. Seroski, 55, of Coal Township, escaped injury in a one-vehicle accident at 4:45 p.m. Aug. 23 along Route 125 in this Northumberland County township.
State police at Stonington reported Seroski was driving a 2000 GMC Sierra south when she lost control of her vehicle while negotiating a downhill, right curve in the road. The Sierra traveled across the northbound lane and struck guard rail before coming to rest on the east shoulder of the road.
The Sierra sustained left front-end damage and was towed from the scene.
Seroski, who was wearing a seat belt, was cited for failing to maintain her vehicle on the road.
DUI
STRONG - Dylan Spencer Blum, 21, of 421 N. Shamokin St., Apt. 2-4, Shamokin, has been charged with driving under the influence of heroin, recklessly endangering another person, careless driving, failing to drive in a single lane and a seat belt violation relating to a traffic stop at 5 p.m. Thursday on Route 61 near DaVita Dialysis.
Mount Carmel Patrolmen Kelly Campbell and David Stamets Jr. filed the charges at the office of Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones.
Stamets reported Blum also will be charged by Kulpmont police with similar offenses involving a traffic stop along Route 61 (Chestnut Street) near China King on Wednesday.
