Rollover crash
LOCUST TOWNSHIP - An Elysburg man was taken to Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, following a rollover crash Tuesday on Southern Road.
Township police said Benjamin Snarski, 22, of 173 Fairview St., was driving a Chevrolet Blazer north near Reeder Road at 10:21 p.m. when he lost control of his vehicle, which flipped onto the side of the road. The road was closed for about an hour.
The accident is still under investigation and police aren't sure what caused Snarski to lose control of the vehicle.
Assisting at the scene were members of the Ralpho Township Fire and Ambulance service and Ralpho Township Fire Police.
Keys found
ZERBE TOWNSHIP - A set of keys was found on the south side of Line Mountain Elementary School Saturday. The keys can be claimed by calling state police at Stonington at 570-286-5601.
Hit and run
MEADOWVIEW - A Shamokin man is accused of fleeing the scene of a two-vehicle accident Oct. 29 in Shamokin Township.
Brian Carlton Herb, 40, was driving a 1998 Jeep Cherokee south on Route 61 near Tulip Road about 4:50 p.m. when he rear-ended a 1997 Mercedes-Benz C230 driven by George Cotterall, 84, of Sunbury, according to Trooper Daniel J. Wilk, state police at Stonington.
Herb made a U-turn after impact and drove from the scene traveling north on Route 61, Wilk said. His vehicle was subsequently found parked behind a residence off Route 61.
No one was injured.
