Theft
SHAMOKIN - Two Shamokin brothers and two other local residents who allegedly removed electric motors for vehicles from a vacant property at Fourth and Mulberry streets June 7 have been charged by Patrolman Jarrod Scandle with theft-related offenses.
Raymond Villari III, 27, of 343 S. Fifth St., Shamokin; his 25-year-old brother, Robert L. Villari Jr., of 28 Raspberry Hill, Shamokin; Alice Reichwein, 19, of 1141 W. State St., Coal Township, and Harry L. Wheary III, 23, of 814 N. Washington St., Apt. 6, Shamokin, were charged Wednesday with theft and receiving stolen property. The Villari brothers also were charged with burglary, criminal trespass and criminal mischief.
Robert L. Villari Jr., Reichwein and Wheary remain incarcerated at Northumberland County Prison in Sunbury on probation detainers. Raymond Villari III, who was initially jailed on a probation detainer, was released after the detainer was lifted.
All four defendants were charged in connection with the theft of electric motors for vehicles owned by Robert Gilligbauer, of Shamokin, who owns the property at 251 S. Fourth St. where the theft occurred.
Fight charges
SHAMOKIN - Tara Brabitz, 38, of 409 N. Rock St., Apt. 3, Shamokin, and Wanda Ebright, 32, of 104 N. Grant St., Shamokin, were cited by Patrolman Shane Mowery for disorderly conduct for fighting at 4:05 a.m. June 9 in the 200 block of North Rock Street.
