One hurt

DELAWARE TOWNSHIP - A Mount Carmel woman sustained a minor injury in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon on I-180 near mile marker 9, according to state police at Milton.

Trooper David Boucher said Ramon D. Weaver, 34, of Mount Carmel, was driving a 1998 Chevrolet Blazer west on I-180 along side Craig A. Harter, 43, of Northumberland, who was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Express in the same direction, at 12:35 p.m.

Weaver traveled into the left lane and struck the front passenger side of the Express with the back driver side of the Blazer, police said.

The Blazer spun around and traveled off the left side of the roadway and rolled onto its roof. Harter pulled his vehicle off to the right side of the roadway, police said.

The drivers were not injured. However, Weaver's passenger, Beth A. Hoschar, 21, of Mount Carmel, was injured but was not transported to a hospital.

All were wearing their seatbelts, police said.

Weaver was charged with careless driving.
