Girl hurt in crash
AUGUSTAVILLE - A 17-year-old Shamokin girl was injured Saturday after crashing a sport utility vehicle along Captain Bloom Road in Rockefeller Township.
Trooper James Yankovich, of the state police at Stonington, reported the teenager was driving a 1995 Jeep Cherokee north about 11:35 a.m. when she traveled off the east berm. She re-entered the road and then exited the west berm, where she struck a tree and traveled into a ditch before the vehicle flipped onto its roof.
The girl told state police she was wearing a seat belt. She was driven by Americus Ambulance to Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Yankovich described her injuries as moderate.
She will be cited for a traffic violation.
Also assisting at the scene were Stonington Fire Company, Friendship Hose Company and East Sunbury Fire Company.
State police generally do not release the names of minors involved in police incidents.
Home entry
KULPMONT - A borough woman reported someone gained entry to her home early Friday.
The incident occurred at the home of April Zupicich, 1120 Poplar St., about 5:10 a.m., according to Trooper David Myers, of state police at Stonington.
The trooper did not indicate in a public information report if anything was stolen.

City bar cited
SHAMOKIN - State liquor control agents filed two citations against a city bar for alleged violations from earlier this year.
Quinny's Pub, 300 S. Market St., was cited by agents from the Williamsport office of Liquor Control Enforcement with selling alcohol to minors and serving a visibly intoxicated patron. The agency said the alleged incidents occurred on Jan. 13 and other occasions.
License citation
TREVORTON - Sarah C. Hueston, 22, of Shamokin, was cited by Trooper George R. Ritchey, of state police at Stonington, for driving with a suspended license following an incident Friday in Zerbe Township.
