LOWER MAHANOY TOWNSHIP - A Dalmatia teen was not injured in a one-vehicle accident Friday afternoon on Middle Road west of Route 225, according to state police at Stonington.
Trooper David Townsend said a 17-year-old male was traveling west on Middle Road in a 2003 Subaru Impreza at 2:50 p.m. Friday when the car traveled off the roadway to the right and struck a fence and then a tree.
The driver was wearing his seatbelt, and he will be cited for a traffic violation, police said.
Driver hurt
UPPER AUGUSTA TOWNSHIP - A Sunbury driver sustained moderate injury Friday night in a one-vehicle accident on Route 61 near Haas Manor Road, according to state police at Stonington.
Trooper James Yankovich said Dustin L. Bell, 37, was driving a 2009 Pontiac G6 at 8:03 p.m. Friday north on Route 61 when the car exited the right side of the roadway and traveled 25 feet before striking a utility police and three mailboxes.
The vehicle rolled and landed on its roof facing south, police said.
Bell was not wearing his seatbelt. He was transported from the scene by AREA Services to Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Part of the highway was closed for approximately 90 minutes.
One driver injured
LOWER MAHANOY TOWNSHIP - A Herndon driver was injured and a Sunbury driver escaped harm in a two-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon on Route 147 at its intersection with Sunbury Street, according to state police at Stonington.
Trooper Todd Leiby said Christian H. Heimbach, 21, of Sunbury, was traveling south at 1:40 p.m. in a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado through the village of Dalmatia when Jessica L. Reiner, 24, of Herndon, driving a 2002 Kia Sportage, traveled into the path of Heimbach from a stopped position on Sunbury Street.
Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts, and Reiner had an injury of unknown severity, police said.
