Forged prescription
SHAMOKIN - Patricia Zimmerman, 21, of 129 S. Franklin St., Shamokin, was charged by Cpl. Bryan Primerano with criminal attempt to commit forgery relating to an Oct. 15 incident at CVS Pharmacy on Independence Street.
According to a criminal complaint, Zimmerman is accused of submitting a forged or altered prescription to the pharmacy to be filled. Police said the prescription was forged to add Oxycodone, which was not authorized by a doctor.

COAL TOWNSHIP - Patrolman Edward Purcell has charged Denitsa Chavez, 21, and Ashley N. Delgado, 19, both of 8 N. Seventh St., Shamokin, with retail theft.
Police said Chavez and Delgado allegedly stole baby food, diapers, DVD movies and clothing totaling $256.84 from Wal-Mart Supercenter along Route 61 on Nov. 1.

COAL TOWNSHIP - Dal Tyson Elliott, 33, of 1102 E. Webster St., Coal Township, was charged by Patrolman Terry Ketchem Jr. with retail theft for allegedly stealing $514.65 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart Supercenter on Route 61 on Oct. 2.
